Who we are

Melissa Multisport Club ("the club") is an initiative of BAUSEA, a nonprofit public-benefit organization. BAUSEA is responsible for the club and for this website.

Questions about this policy go through the contact form.

What we collect

Children's information

The club serves players aged 6 to 18. Information about a child is provided by their parent or guardian, not collected from the child. A parent can ask to see, correct or delete their child's information at any time.

How we use it

The club does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Coaches and session leaders see what they need to run a session: names, age groups and emergency contacts. Service providers that host the website, the member database, email and payments process information on BAUSEA's behalf. TechSyntar operates registration, payments, schedules and parent communication for the club. Information is disclosed to authorities only where the law requires it or a child's safety depends on it.

Photographs

Photographs of players are taken or published only with the parent's written consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

How long we keep it

Interest registrations are kept for one year unless the family joins. Membership records are kept while the child is a member and for up to three years afterwards for safeguarding and accounting reasons, then deleted.

Your choices

Photographs of children

At registration each parent or guardian chooses whether photographs of their child may be published: with first name, without a name, or not at all. The choice is stored with the date it was made. Coaches and volunteers check it before anything is shared, and no child is ever identified by surname, school or location. You can change the choice, or ask for any published photo to be removed, through the contact form.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your family's information, and withdraw any consent, through the contact form.
